OUR MISSION

is to make education more personal for
under-resourced Bay Area middle and high
school students through professional tutoring
and targeted academic support.

Slide background

WE BELIEVE THAT ONE
SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL

We personalize experiences for
each student, tutor, and program partner.

Slide background

WE BELIEVE IN
COLLABORATIVE
RELATIONSHIPS

It takes a collective effort to educate
and prepare students for success
in college and beyond. Each February
we host an annual conversation on
personalizing education for the community.

Slide background

WE BELIEVE IN
LIFELONG LEARNING

We advocate for continuous growth
inside and outside the classroom.
Our tutors provide academic support
that is real, relevant, and rigorous.

WE STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE

We hire great tutors with specific
content knowledge and teaching
expertise and support them as
they work directly with students.

OUR APPROACH

Tutorpedia Foundation carefully matches students (grades 6-12) with exceptional tutors who are experts in their content, use best practices in test preparation, and improve overall study and organizational skills. In partnership with local schools and community organizations, our tutors supplement Low-income students’ classroom experiences, helping to improve their chances of graduating high school, succeeding in college, and finding careers of their choosing. Tutoring is student-centered and individualized, improving confidence, motivation, and grades, and test scores.
